Architectural Drafter - Residential Projects (Remote)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter. The responsibilities for this role include producing residential design and drafting work, coordinating consultants' drawings such as engineering and civil, and supporting two staff members with drafting, documenting, and presentation work. A deep understanding of Australian construction codes and planning requirements is required, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams is essential. The ideal person for this position would possess high organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in ArchiCAD.
Responsibilities

Produce residential design and drafting work using ArchiCAD.

Coordinate consultants' drawings such as engineering and civil.

Support two staff members with drafting, documenting, and presentation work.

Ensure compliance with Australian construction codes and planning requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure project success
Requirements

5+ years of experience in design and architectural drafting.

2+ years of experience using ArchiCAD in the residential construction industry.

Ability to work remotely with a well-equipped home office setup.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field preferred.

Availability to work Australian hours – 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Melbourne time
